OpEd: Murals can transform Frazier Park

I want to address a couple of issues that Al Fleming mentioned [“Alpine comes crashing down for Dollar General store” and “Alpine Gone” February 12 and 19, 2016, The Mountain Enterprise].

I agree that Frazier Park does not really have a town theme and that it needs to be brightened up. Also, we need something that makes people not only get off the freeway to come here, but to want to come back to visit and to recommend Frazier Park to others.

I think having large murals located right on “main street” such as on the sides of the laundromat and Frazier Park Market…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
