Come play in the bounce house for grown ups!
By Brittany Franco, Run to the Pines
Run to the Pines has been an annual Pine Mountain Village event for twenty years and it’s back, bigger than ever, for year 21.
Cars will start arriving at 6 a.m., and the National Anthem will kick off at 8:45 a.m.
Live events will be happening all day long. Check out Pam Balazer’s “May The Forest Be With You” live wood carving, live music, Jody Valmassy painting live in the Village, and all those gorgeous cars. There is a kids zone with bounce houses, and hold onto your sneakers—we’ve even got an adult bounce house and slide for families to enjoy!
There are 115 spots for folks to enter the vehicles they love, by going to www.runtothepinesautoshow.com.
“Best of” prizes will be awarded in seven categories: Paint, Classic, Hot Rod, Motorcycle, Muscle Car, Off-Road and Truck; Best in Show, People’s Choice and the Club Award.
Our celebrity guest host is Ray McClelland, owner of the Full Throttle Kustomz shop in Fillmore. He’s known from TV shows like Car Warriors and Motor City Masters.
McClelland will join Jim Hackett and me for hosting duties through the day.
