Clarity provided on clubhouse renovation costs

The April 19, 2025 Pine Mountain Club Property Owners Association (PMCPOA) monthly open board meeting shed light on many financial questions that have been looming over the Clubhouse Revitalization spending for years. It also featured an intelligent and heated debate about the role of the PMCPOA board in governing member-to-member social media disputes.

At the outset of the meeting, Board Chair Jennifer Emmet briefly discussed the vote to recall herself and Director Brad Hudson as part of the 2025-2026 Board of Directors election. If members vote to recall either or both directors, there will be one to two director openings for a one year term. These two candidates, Joshua Arman and Douglas Wilde, will be included in the candidates forum meeting in May.

Director Candace Bennett discussed the General Manager search, which has been active since outgoing GM Todd Greisen resigned effective December 13, 2024. Bennett said while the board initially considered a management company, they ultimately considered three individual candidates, giving a “priority [to] someone who is local to the mountain.” Bennett said a candidate has been voted on, offered the job and accepted the offer.
