PMCPOA misses quorum

A total of 693 eligible ballots were counted for the Pine Mountain Club Property Owners Association annual election on Saturday, June 19.

Quorum Not Met

That 24.04% of the 2,883 eligible “members in good standing” failed to meet the 25% quorum required by PMCPOA’s governing documents. Voter participation was less than for last year’s pandemic quarantine election.

The fallback position in the PMCPOA governing documents is to allow the annual meeting to “reconvene” with a reduced quorum, so the four open directors’ seats for 2021-2022 could be filled. That was done, and the meeting continued with a 15% quorum threshold.
