Pond still wins most the votes for Frazier Mountain Park

And we are ready to start singing away our sadness at an amphitheater

By Patric Hedlund, TME • The Mountain Communities turned out in force again October 14 to show strong support for their beloved Frazier Mountain Park.

Kern County’s Park Designer Don Woodard and Facilities Administrator Carl Brewer are working on the Proposition 68 Regional Park grant. The task last week was for the community to vote for their top “wish list” items. Neighbors again showed their devotion to the restoration of Frazier Mountain Park. They also voted for a dog park, parcourse exercise route and an amphitheater to showcase the stunning talents of residents here.

This is the 1920s vision for Frazier Mountain Park. Now it appears it may be possible to reconnect much of this region with walking trails…
