Power pole collision leaves portions of Lockwood Valley without electricity

FRAZIER PARK/LOCKWOOD VALLEY, CA (Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.)—Power was restored to Lockwood Valley residents by about 3:15 p.m. this afternoon after crews replaced the pole that had been knocked down in the traffic collision.

FRAZIER PARK/LOCKWOOD VALLEY, CA (Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 11:05 a.m.)—Southern California Edison reports that 216 customers are affected and that the incident began at 12:47 a.m. this morning, caused by a traffic accident. One resident reported that the power went out between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday night. The estimated time for restoring power is 3 p.m. today, according to Southern California Edison.

FRAZIER PARK/LOCKWOOD VALLEY, CA (Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 10:45 a.m.)—An apparent late-night collision took down a power pole on Lockwood Valley Road about a mile west of Chuchupate Ranger Station. There were no work crew members on scene at 10:40 a.m. this morning. One resident reported to The Mountain Enterprise that power was out in at least two homes.
