Prescribed burns for 1,895 acres of national forest completed in PMC

The U.S. Forest Service completed a series of prescribed burns this week as part of the Pine Mountain Club Project, a 1,895-acre forest health and wildfire resiliency effort on the Mount Pinos Ranger District of the Los Padres National Forest.

The Pine Mountain Club Project is an initiative designed to reduce hazardous fuel loads, protect high-value recreation areas, and strengthen wildfire resilience for the community and surrounding forest.
