Progress made on swings, murals, main street contest

Progress is being made by Friends of Frazier Mountain Park to improve the park and main street. Debbie Turner reported at the March meeting that the entry to the Mountain Communities—the white fence in Lebec along Frazier Mountain Park Road—was going to be cleaned up. The Mountain Enterprise reported last week that the clean-up was accomplished three days later (March 31) by a work-release program of nonviolent offenders.

Kimberlee Goddard spoke of the need for improvements at the playground and asked about the county’s timeline.

On April 12 the board of supervisors allocated $5,500 to replace the broken…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
