U.S. Army Corps of Engineers presents plan to clear Los Padres area of WWII munitions waste

Bruce James is project manager for the clean-up by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) of World War II munitions waste left behind in the Dry Canyon area of the Los Padres National Forest.

Last week, on August 21, he faced the task of walking residents through the main points of a highly technical report. He did so with good humor before a discerning but apprehensive group of about 20 off-roading enthusiasts at Frazier Park Library.
