Tuesday, March 21 was a heartbreaking day for animal lovers after information about an accident reached our Mountain Communities.

A volunteer from Unity K9 Express Rescue and Outreach, a rescue group based in Kern County, along with 12 rescue dogs, were victims in a vehicle roll-over on Interstate 5 near…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
