The Kern County Parks and Recreation Master Plan includes Frazier Mountain Park, Mil Potrero Park, Hungry Valley and Camp Condor.

Some of the suggestions included: An indoor swimming pool, improved parking, a dedicated snow play facility including flooding an area to create an ice skating rink, paved bike paths, Chumash murals on the side of buildings and walls and practical improvements such as renovating the restroom at Frazier Mountain Park.

Another idea enthusiastically discussed was the addition of an amphitheater or gazebo that could be used for cultural activities and the performing arts. The idea of a multipurpose facility with an indoor gymnasium and a theater was also raised.
