One hundred years ago, in 1915, an amazing engineering feat created a paved land bridge across the mountains to join together Southern and Northern California for the first time. The Ridge Route Communities Museum and the Ridge Route Preservation Organization are hosting a festive 100 year anniversary this Saturday, Oct. 3.
Admission is free.
From Frazier Park go north on Interstate 5, take the Fort Tejon exit, but turn right to go to El Tejon School.
