A Saturday school session is planned Saturday, Sept. 12 at Frazier Park Elementary School from 8 a.m. to noon.

Fitness, art, science technology, sign language and board games are part of the fun activities planned by Michelle Penner, Sandy Blanchard, Mary Hon, Michael Forrester and Brianne Holloway.

Students need to bring their own snacks.

This event is open to all kindergarten through fourth grade students and is intended to help recover monies lost to the school due to absences, which can be over $100,000 each year. ­—June Schmidt
