Frazier Park, CA and the Mountain Communities (Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 5 p.m.)—Join us in welcoming summer this Saturday, June 4 for our Annual Park Day! From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a Mobile Clinic; from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., our Advocates and local organizations will be at the park creating fun and opportunity!

HELP WITH YOUR CAR SEAT SAFETY CHECK
Need a car seat safety check? CHP can help you out! Does your kiddo want to sign up for the Summer Reading Program? The library will be on hand! We’ll have games, crafts, face painting, snacks and raffle prizes! Everyone is welcome to come out to have a blast with their neighbors!

FREE MOBILE CLINIC
 Kern Public Health will be on hand with their mobile vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone interested can get their first dose (age 5+) or booster shot for covid-19; a COVID rapid test; or the flu shot. This is a free walk-up clinic so come by if you are looking for more information or protection!

MAY’S “ROUTINES” WORKSHOP
May’s Routines Workshop was a hit—both in English and Spanish! Our Family Advocates discussed the importance of routines with 31 participants.  Parents were active in each workshop as they shared what is working and what is challenging in their own family routines. Parents asked for more educational workshops and we plan to deliver. Stay tuned for our July event!
