Second body found in Neenach area

The second body in two weeks was found near Neenach on Sunday, Aug. 3. The crime scene this time was up a dusty desert road, four miles north of Highway 138, at Gaskell Road and 260th Street West.

Investigators had marked off the site, about 100 yards from a red 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup truck, where a male driver appeared to have been shot through the vehicle’s windshield.
