Six sheriff’s deputies head into Lake of the Woods with assault rifles

Six Kern County Sheriff’s patrol cars converged on the 6500 block of Lowry Lane in Lake of the Woods, Monday, May 27.

While we don’t have an official description of the full circumstances, we believe the family of a young man in the Lowry Lane home called 911 with concerns for the man’s well-being just after 1:30 p.m.
