Smoke Alert Issued for Antelope Valley Due to Stone Fire

Neenach, CA (Monday, June 4, 2018 at 2:59 p.m.)—The Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District has issued a smoke advisory today for the Antelope Valley (attached). This advisory will remain in effect until further notice. Windblown smoke from the Stone Wildfire burning in the vicinity of Agua Dulce is causing smoke impacts in the Antelope Valley area, subject to shifting winds throughout the day.

Residents are urged to exercise caution. Aoid unnecessary outdoor activities in any area directly impacted by smoke. Smoke affected areas are where residents can see or smell smoke.
