FRAZIER PARK, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, LEBEC, CA (Wednesday, Feb. 14 at  7 a.m.)—Valentine’s Day morning brings 1/4 inch of fine snow powder at 6,000 feet in the Pine Mountain community. Roads are clear, but watch for ice. The National Weather Service predicts light snow and scattered rain throughout the area before 10 a.m., followed by clearing skies. Drive carefully. Give yourself time to get where you’re going at a cautious speed. Here’s the NWS forecast:

Wednesday
A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 47. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Wednesday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. Northwest wind around 15 mph becoming south in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Thursday
Sunny, with a high near 47. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph becoming north northeast in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

FRAZIER PARK, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 7 a.m.)—No, the snow did not begin at 10 p.m. last night, but there is a sprinkling of light snowflakes this morning at 7 a.m. It is cold, but roads are unimpeded. Please drive slowly and cautiously.

FRAZIER PARK, PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, LEBEC, CA (Monday, Feb. 12 at 9 a.m.)—The temperature has dropped. Intermittent gusty winds visited in the wee hours Monday morning. The National Weather Service predicts a 30% chance of snow showers after 10 p.m. Monday night, so precipitation may be heading our way.
