Southern California Edison to postpone its outages planned at Curtis Trail in Lockwood Valley

LOCKWOOD VALLEY (FRAZIER PARK), CA (Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 4:58 p.m.)—Southern California Edison has notified The Mountain Enterprise that both previously-planned outages for November 3 (election day) and November 8 are to be postponed. Reggie Kumar, Public Safety Advisor for Edison, said the work at Curtis Trail in Lockwood Valley is now being scheduled for November 17. “Customers will receive a new notice,” he said. The Mountain Enterprise initially inquired with Edison about why the work had been planned for election day when residents would be trying to leave through a closed road and would be needing to use their internet services to access information about the election.
