States sue Juul as ads show vaping dangers for youth

A new campaign of TV, digital and radio ads is now airing to highlight the dangers of vaping. At the same time, California has been joined by several other states to file lawsuits against San Francisco-based electronic cigarette maker JUUL Labs.

The lawsuits allege that JUUL unlawfully used advertising to target young people, contrary to the company’s claim that its product is aimed at adults trying to quit cigarettes.
