Sugar Plum Memories of the Holiday Season

Lingering images and warm memories of the festive holiday season still make us smile.

On Thursday, Dec. 20 Kristina Graves and a group of children from the Boys & Girls Club came to The Mountain Enterprise to sing Christmas Carols. They presented the staff with a homemade banner that said, "Thank You 4 Loving Us" to express their gratitude for the support The Mountain Enterprise has given the club in the past year.

The same day, Michelle Penner brought Frazier Park School carolers to delight the staff.

‘Around Town’ columnist Don Eubank took these photos at the AARP Christmas Luncheon when Randy Poland and 32 students from the El Tejon Badger Band came for their tradition of joining AARP for lunch and a serenade in December. AARP meets on the first Thursday of each month (that’s January 3 this month and February 7 next month). The band also marched in the Holiday Parade.

Monday, Dec. 17 Frazier Park School’s kindergarten class and second grade class gave a special Christmas performance in honor of the holiday season. The kindergarten students put on a wonderful show which included sign language Christmas songs.

The second grade students showed off great swing dancing skills and performed a piece about Santa visiting different locations around the world.

In the photos above and below, Santa visited many different locations where the children where excited to see him. The audience was able to see him go to places like Egypt, Australia, the U.S.A and finally Frazier Park!
