Surgeon General visits Kern, urges ‘The 3 W’s’

‘Have hope, don’t give up. We’re in the final leg of this, I’m convinced.’

U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams paid a visit to Kern County on Monday, bringing a refreshing message of hope to a deeply fatigued community. He praised the “tremendous amount of partnership” he saw in Kern County, pointing out the unusual level of diversity he witnessed here. Seeing folks from the ag industry, the oil industry and the beauty industry all seated together at a business roundtable impressed him.
