The largest jewelry heist in United States history (according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Central District of California) occurred at the Lebec Flying J on July 11, 2022, when approximately $100 million worth of gold, diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and luxury watches were stolen from a Brinks semitruck.
