Please plan to come to a community forum at La Sierra Restaurant in Frazier Park on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 6:15 p.m. to ask your questions in person about the changes planned at Tait Ranch in Frazier Park. The new owners will be there to meet the community, to introduce themselves and to explain their plans.

Dear Editor:

While the rumors of a 900 bed facility being built on the Tait Ranch property may be exaggerated [“Rumors Fly on Plans for Tait Ranch,” The Mountain Enterprise, Nov. 18, 2011] it seems apparent from the article and the pictures that it will place troubled inner city kids in the middle of Frazier Park.

What measures will Soledad Enrichment Action (S.E.A.) take to screen out and control any possible troublemakers?

We quoted a member of the staff in the story last week saying the students are closely supervised, with a 1 to 5 adult to student ratio. However, please come to the December 8 community forum to ask your questions in person of the new owners.
