Tecuya Ridge fuelbreak project proceeds—We’re not ‘logging,’ Mt. Pinos fire chief says

In the wake of their federal court victory securing the authority to move ahead with forest thinning and hazardous fuels reduction on Tecuya Ridge, Los Padres National Forest officials were plentiful at the Thursday, March 28 open house, held in the Mt. Pinos Ranger District conference room on Lockwood Valley Road.

Is It “Logging”?

The lawsuit challenging the Tecuya Ridge project was filed five years ago by several environmental organizations, including Los Padres ForestWatch, Earth Island Institute and the Center for Biological Diversity.
