Tejon Mountain Village Hearing is Thursday, Sept. 10

FRAZIER PARK (Tuesday, Sept. 8, 5 p.m.)—The public hearing before the Kern County Planning Commission for Tejon Mountain Village is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. [1115 Truxtun Avenue, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers.]

The public will be invited to speak to the commission regarding their thoughts and concerns about the project. Tejon Ranch Company and DMB Associates seek to build up to 3,450 residences, 750 hotel and resort units and 160,000 square feet of commercial space, two golf courses and two heliports adjacent to Lebec, accessible via the Interstate 5. TMV is planned as a gated community.

Those interested in seeing the final environmental impact report (FEIR), the recommendations of the Kern County Planning Department in response to the developers’ application, its relation to the Frazier Park / Lebec Specific Plan and the original draft EIR can go to a UCLA server which streams fairly reliably.
