Tejon’s Grapevine Project Gets Rubber Stamp from Planning Commission

Bakersfield, CA (Friday, Oct. 28, 2016)—The Kern County Planning Commission voted unanimously last night to recommend approval of the Tejon Ranchcorp’s Grapevine development. That mixed commercial and residential development would be built in phases, to accommodate 10,000 to 12,000 homes along Interstate 5 between the base of the Grapevine and the Laval Road exit. The goal is to create housing for workers employed by the Tejon Commercial Center warehouses and retail stores, developers say.
