The Towering Snowman of Pinon Pines

An anonymous tip about a towering snowman was phoned to The Mountain Enterprise as the mountain digs itself out from under two weeks of snow. Our intrepid reporters found Vittorio Mastrocinque and his wife Norma. They invited all the family over on Sunday, Feb. 10, including grandchildren, to build a Goliath snowman. Reader Lee Benda helped us track this specimen to just east of Pinetree and Snowbird in Pinon Pines.

This is part of the February 15, 2008 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
