Three days of Carmageddon

The southern episode of last week’s Carmageddon began Tuesday, June 8, at 1 p.m., when a beer truck, southbound on Interstate 5, went over the side 2.6 miles north of Templin Highway.

The driver suffered only minor injuries and the passenger was not injured. It took a day and a half to pull the big rig 150 feet up to the roadway, according to CHP Officer Josh Greengard.
