Traditions are alive at Fiesta Days

In addition to the rundown last week on the preliminary schedule for live music at this year’s Fiesta Days celebration (Aug. 2, 3, 4), there are many traditions observed each year.

The Log Sawing event has been a favorite at Fiesta Days since the beginning (now named the George Erb & Brian Prosser Log Sawing Contest.”

But where did log sawing start as a competitive event?
