LEBEC, CA (Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 at 9:45 a.m.)—A string of minor accidents along southbound Interstate 5 has tangled traffic this morning. The most persistent has been a big rig fire that started at 3:30 a.m. just north of Fort Tejon, involving burning cardboard, according to CHP. They report that the cardboard has reignited a number of times. Southbound traffic was backed up to Laval Road as the #3 and #4 lanes have been shut down and the #2 lane was blocked for a period of time.
