  • Clean Up The Ridge Route (CUTRR) meets at 9 a.m. at the Ranch House Restaurant (49713 Gorman Post Rd.) Wear work clothes and bring tools.
  • Frazier Mountain High School Cheer Team’s Car Wash is at The Mountain Enterprise (across from Ace Hardware) from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The cost is $5 per vehicle.
  • Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve Visitor Center is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends. Jane S. Pinheiro’s watercolors are on display. Guided tours about the wildflowers and cultural history are offered (15101 Lancaster Rd. 661-724-1180).
