• In the Wings Studio of Dance presents ‘Dancin’ Under the Big Top’ at El Tejon School (4337 Lebec Road, Lebec). The show begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are available at the door– $12 adults and $10 children 12 and under.

• What are the endangered species and invasive plants and animals here? Join naturalist David Schindler at the Town Hall meeting, 7 p.m. in the Pool Pavilion at the Pine Mountain clubhouse to learn more about our local area. Schindler, formerly a Wind Wolves ranger, surveys endangered species and is a docent for Tejon Ranch Conservancy. The public is invited and all mountain residents are welcome.

Saturday, June 13

• A summer music festival, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. is hosted at the Frazier Park Library today. Come enjoy the tunes of American Jukebox and sing along while savoring an ice cream cone.

• Wine in the Pines is in Pine Mountain Village, 12 noon–4 p.m., Enjoy wines from premier wineries and beer from craft breweries accompanied by fine foods. Tickets at the door are $60.

• Join the Friends of the Library for their meeting and elections, 2 p.m. at the library (3732 Park Dr., Frazier Park).

• In the Wings Studio of Dance presents ‘Dancin’ Under the Big Top’ at El Tejon School (4337 Lebec Road, Lebec). The show begins at 4 p.m. and tickets are available at the door– $12 adults and $10 children 12 and under.

• Are you ready for a mountain climbing experience? Join Dianne Erskine-Hellrigel as she shares photos of mountain climbing experiences at the Condor Group of the Sierra Club,7 p.m. in the Pool Pavilion at the Pine Mountain clubhouse (2524 Beechwood Way, PMC). All are welcome to come at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy refreshments and meet new friends.

• A free Black Out Night Hike Adventure, hosted by Wind Wolves Preserve, begins at 8:15 p.m. See great stars, learn about nocturnal animals and enjoy sensory awareness activities. Ages 6 and up welcome, no strollers. Bring flashlights (from Frazier Park, head 19.4 miles north on I-5, exit west on State Route 166, drive 14.6 miles to 16019 Maricopa Highway, www.wildlandsconservancy.org).
