• How does Ham Radio save lives? The Pine Mountain Amateur Radio Club joins a National Field Day with a camp-out on Mt. Cerro Noroeste, open to the general public. • The Mountain Community Health Fair is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frazier Park School. • Be a part of history at the Old Fashioned Fourth of July & Frontier Army Days at Fort Tejon on July 4, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Enjoy an 1850s style Independence Day celebration with family and friends and pie eating contests, tug of war, sack races and other fun games. The cannon salute is at 12 noon. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy under the oaks. Admission is $5/Adults; $3/Children (7-17); ages 6 and under are free.
