Wednesday, August 19

• El Tejon School PTSO will hold its first meeting tonight at 5 p.m. in the Mountain Communities Family Resource Center downstairs meeting room (3015 Mt. Pinos Way, F.P.). Come hear about all the exciting changes and meet the new officers.

• The Lake of the Woods Property Owners Association is hosting its Second Annual Community Yard Sale 8 a.m.–noon, Cuddy Hall. All Mountain Community residents are invited to participate. Register as a seller online at cuddyhall.com.

• Ft. Tejon is holding a Volunteer Training Day, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. at 4201 Fort Tejon Rd., Lebec. If you love history, and want to help with the living history program, this training is intended for both continuing and new volunteers. Call Sean Malis at 661.248.7001.

• The 2015 Gorman Ridge Rally cars at Hungry Valley SVRA will be on display from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The rally begins at 11 a.m. Spectators can view the race at Maxey Stage, 11:30 a.m.–4 p.m. There is no charge, only a $5 park admission (www.gormanrally.com/).

• The Farmers Market will be open Saturdays, 10 a.m. to noon, through the growing season at Green Dragon Farms (3433 Los Padres Dr., Frazier Park). A variety of fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs and eggs will be available. Fresh food vouchers are available at the Family Resource Center and can be redeemed on market days.
