• ETUSD Saturday School is back, 8 a.m.–noon. Buses will run. Frazier Park Elementary School, El Tejon Middle School and FMHS students will all go to the high school.
• In the Wings Studio of Dance will hold its Annual Rummage Sale today and tomorrow, 8 a.m.–2 p.m. for the performance and competition teams at the dance studio, 3524 Mount Pinos Way, Frazier Park. The sale will continue on March 12 and 13. The studio accepts donations for their rummage sale any time.
• The Photo Safari to Tejon Conservancy with photography mentors for students 10-18 is today. The tour is 9-11 a.m. for those with reserved seats. Sign up by March 3: Contact Scot Pipkin (spipkin@tejonconservancy.org or 661.248.2400 ext. 5) to register.
• Fort Tejon State Historic Park will demonstrate what life was like in California in the 1850’s during a Frontier Army Days and Dragoon Living History Program, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Demonstrations include military drills, open hearth cooking, blacksmithing and carpentry. Come enjoy the fun. There is a $5 fee for adults, $2 for ages 7–17.
• Wind Wolves Preserve offers two hikes today. A Backcountry Adventure is 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m Bring water, lunch and sturdy shoes on this “Authorized Access Only” tour of the preserve. Then, expand your senses during a Black Out Night Hike, 6–8 p.m. Do some star gazing and learn about the creatures that come out after night here. For reservations contact 661.858.1115 or windwolvespreserve@twc-ca.org. Head north on I-5 for 19.4 miles, exit west on SR 166 for 14.6 miles (16019 Maricopa Highway), about a 40-minute drive.

• Wind Wolves Preserve offers two more hikes: a Birding Hike explores varied habitats at Wind Wolves Preserve, 8–11 a.m. All ages are welcome. Those 7 years and up are invited to hike the El Camino Viejo for a trip back in time along the old wagon road, 8 a.m.–2 p.m. Bring your own water and lunch. • The Relay For Life planning meeting to fight cancer is 6 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Frazier Park. It will focus on what types of activities and games everyone would like to see for the 2016 Olympic-themed event. Come, bring your ideas, enthusiasm and talents to help put an end to cancer.

• Free Spanish and English classes are offered by the Frazier Park Library Tuesdays through March 22. Basic Spanish is 4–5 p.m. English as a Second Language (ESL) is 5–6 p.m. Register at the library.

• The Frazier Mountain High School Snobotics team will participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition today through March 12 at the Long Beach Convention Center, 300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach. The public is invited to attend.

• The Third Annual Mountain Youth Photo Contest is still open for submissions. If you have not submitted a photo yet, what are you waiting for? Entries will be accepted now until March 19 in three age categories: 6–10, 11–14 and 15–18. Cash prizes are awarded for first, second and third place in each category. See the submission form in this issue of The Mountain Enterprise (page 4) and at www.MountainEnterprise.com. The Awards Party and Reception is Saturday, April 16, 5 p.m., at the Frazier Park Library.
