• Curious about the rocks in our local mountains? Don’t miss the talk by Geologist Tim Elam, 4 p.m. at the Ridge Route Communities Museum (3515 Park Drive, FP). Elam will explore how the San Andreas Fault affects the geology here. Bring unusual rocks of your own for identification. Refreshments will be served.
• A free community dinner will be served 4–6 p.m. at the Frazier Mountain Park Community Center. The cuisine is Italian.
• The Opening Party and Awards Reception for the Mountain Youth Photo Contest is at 5 p.m. at the Frazier Park Library. Come to admire the creativity of our young people and see the world through their eyes. Refreshments will be served.

Over 100 Arts and Crafts booths, food vendors, constant music and entertainment plus kids’ activities offer fun for everyone. Admission and parking are free.
