• College Planning 101 is the title of a free workshop offered at the Frazier Park Library, 4:30–6 p.m. Taught by experienced mentor Alyssa Haerle, the course is for middle school and high school students seeking information on career paths, majors, clubs, sports, internships and more. Bring a laptop or tablet to look at web resources. Parents are welcome. Also offered July 12 and August 23 at 4:30 p.m.

• The Boys and Girls Club Summer Camp will be held weekdays through August 12 at Frazier Park School. Day camp is a fun and safe way for your kids to enjoy the summer. • Your comments on the draft plan for up to 14,000 new homes proposed for the northern base of the Grapevine must be submitted by 5 p.m. July 14. • I Hate Hamlet by Paul Rudnick and November by David Mamet are the Summer Stage offerings by the Mountain Theater Alliance, 8 p.m. at the Gazebo in PMC. Performances for I Hate Hamlet, the tale of a successful soap opera actor haunted by the ghost of John Barrymore, are June 30, July 1, 9, 14 and 16. November, a scathing political comedy that mirrors current events, will be presented July 2, 7, 8, 13 and 15. November contains adult language and situations.
