• The Turf Party Continues! Help finish Falcon Field this morning, 9 a.m. at Frazier Mountain High School. Bring gloves and sunscreen. Music, Gatorade, water, food, fun and a sense of community pride is provided.
• Tejon Ranch Conservancy hosts a picnic for prospective volunteers, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Fort Tejon State Historic Park. The conservancy is seeking volunteers to lead tours and hikes, help collect data for research projects and to work with school groups. • Don’t miss Heap of Livin’—the raucous frontier saga of a little girl who grew up here as these rowdy Mountain Communities were being founded.
