• Is a spooky evening up your alley? The Peter LeBeck Candlelight Ghost Tour is at Fort Tejon State Historic Park on Saturday, Oct. 15. Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for children. Enjoy fun activities for all, 4:30–9:30 p.m. The ghost tours begin at 6 p.m.

• 36,000 new neighbors may come with Tejon Ranchcorp’s Grapevine project, with 10,000 to 12,000 new homes and commercial/ industrial development at the base of the Grapevine to Laval Road. Public comments will be heard by the Kern County Planning Commission on October 27 at 7 p.m. (1115 Truxtun Ave., ground floor in the Board of Supervisors chambers). • Haunted House at Frazier Park School from 5-10 p.m. Oct. 28 and 29, with 5-7:30 p.m. special for 12 and under, 8-10 p.m. for creepier fare. Tickets will be $3.00 per person, and $10 for a family of five.

• Piano magic is the gift of Andrew Wong in concert Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at South Kern Christian Center (3224 Mt. Pinos Way, FP; 661.248.1100). Everyone is welcome to this free concert.
