Sunday, Jan. 22

• Tricounty Watchdogs will meet at La Sierra Restaurant in Frazier Park, 11 a.m. to discuss ongoing and upcoming environmental projects.

• A Homeless Census Count is set from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Family Resource Center (3015 Mt. Pinos Way, FP). Coffee and pastries will be served. Participants are asked to help with a short survey and will receive a free gift. Volunteers wishing to help with the census may call the Kern County Homeless Collaborative at 661.834.2734.

• Kern County invites you to a General Plan Update workshop at 7 p.m. (Open house begins at 6 p.m.) in the Board of Supervisors chambers (1115 Truxtun Ave., first floor, Bakersfield). Come help identify your community’s needs and priorities. A second workshop is set for Thursday, Feb. 23.
