• Wind Wolves’ Spring Nature Festival is today and tomorrow, offering free family-friendly activities in an outdoor gala of enriching fun. Enjoy guided hikes, reptile exhibits, wildlife / wildflower viewing, family movies, virtual reality rock art tours and more. Last year 6,000 attended. This year 8,000 are expected. • ‘How to Change a Tire’ instruction for kids of all ages is happening from 9 to 11 a.m. in the PMC clubhouse parking lot. Anyone can come. This is part of a series of life-skill events for youth and teens, but the entire family is welcome!

• Book lover? Ridge Route Communities Museum Book Club meets at 4 p.m. (3515 Park Dr., FP). The current book is The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. It features highlights of her life and memoirs related to her studies in the area of death and the cycle of living. The next book will be Never Go Back, an action-packed adventure by Lee Child.
• What will replace Relay For Life? Learn about Campout Against Cancer and other projects to raise awareness and money for the Kern County Cancer Fund at a meeting at 6 p.m. at the VFW hall (612 Canada Trail, FP). See story on page 2 of the print edition.

• Youth rising: MyC3 meets together 2–4 p.m. at the Family Resource Center (3015 Mt. Pinos Way, FP). MyC3 is a coalition of local youth, ranging in age from 7th to 12th grade. They plan projects, learn new skills, work on presentations, and fundraisers to attend the California Association of Student Counsel Youth Leadership conference. Their ultimate goal is to save lives. Youth who are interested are invited to come check it out!
• Join in the Ukulele Jam at 5 p.m. at the Frazier Park Library. Bring your instrument and your appetite for fun and frolic! The jam (for all ages and skill levels) is the first Wednesday of every month.

They need folks with skills ranging from simple companionship to hairstyling, sewing, counseling and even karaoke singing. All training is provided and they work around your schedule. Temple St., L.A. 90012), regarding the 19,000+ new homes and more than one million square feet of commercial space proposed (by Tejon Ranch Company) at Hwy. 138 and I-5 in Gorman. Select project materials, including a final Environmental Impact Report (EIR), are now available to review at 10 area libraries (inc. Frazier Park).
