• The spooky fun of Candlelight Ghost Tours where Peter LeBeck died at Fort Tejon State Park begins at 4:30 p.m. with pumpkin carving, crafts and games for all ages. After dark the spirits will appear to guide your adventures until 9:30 p.m. See ad page 2 for more info.

• Discover Dowsing, a film about this mysterious occupation, will be shown at 5 p.m. at the Frazier Park Library. Afterward, the filmmaker will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the film and the subject of dowsing.

• El Tejon School’s Spooktacular Haunted Dance is Friday, Oct. 26, 6–9 p.m. Peak to Peak and Gorman students are invited to join in the spooky fun. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door, and includes dinner.
* A ‘Snow Chain Demo’ is Saturday, Oct. 27, 9 a.m.–noon in the Pine Mountain clubhouse parking lot. Bring your chains and the car you want help placing them on, and, if possible, your car manual and chain instructions. Help will be provided to you.
