• The Ridge Route Museum Book Club meets at 4 p.m. at the museum (3515 Park Dr., FP). This month’s selection is H is for Hawk, a memoir by British author Helen Macdonald. This mesmerizing story begins with the death of her father and ends with a new insight into coping with loss and navigating the ups and downs of life. Macdonald, a falconer, recounts her year-long journey of training a goshawk named Mabel. The intensity of the relationship with Mabel helps her understand nature and life in a way never she never felt before.
