• ‘Rock ‘N Roll Reunion’ has a matinee performance at 2 p.m. in the Condor Room of the Pine Mountain Clubhouse, featuring original songs and starring Steve Kramer, Kevin Quinn, Stacey Havener and David Mack. Despite the family-friendly hour, there is adult language and some material may not be suitable for children. Tickets are available at the PMC office or at rock-n-roll-reunion.square.site.

• Pianist Andrew Wong returns to offer a free concert 2 p.m. at the South Kern Christian Church (3224 Mt. Pinos Way, Frazier Park)—between Falcon’s Nest and Ace Hardware. All are welcome, and those who know, know it is not to be missed!

• ‘Artflix at Artworks’ will screen The Maiden Heist at 6:30 p.m. at the gallery (16233 Pine Valley Lane, Pine Mountain Village). This is a fun, art-themed caper film starring Morgan Freeman, Christopher Walken, William H. Macy and Marcia Gay Harden. The movie’s tagline: ‘They’re not bad guys, just bad thieves.’ The screening is free; refreshments are available for a $3 donation.

• Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Public Review Open House is Thursday, Sept. 26, 5:30-7 p.m., Kern Ag Pavilion (3300 E. Belle Terrace, Bakersfield 93307). Representatives from over a dozen water agencies and districts will be available to discuss the Kern Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plans during the 90-day review period. The plan covers SJ Valley areas, not the Mountain Communities.
