• Senior Sack provides weekly food staples, 10–11 a.m.at Frazier Mountain Park Community Center. Eligible recipients (with an annual income below $15,000) register once for $2, then may pick up a sack of fresh fruits and veggies, bread, boxed staples and canned food twice a month. • Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Public Review Open House is Thursday, Sept. 26, 5:30-7 p.m., Kern Ag Pavilion (3300 E. Belle Terrace, Bakersfield 93307). Representatives from over a dozen water agencies and districts will be available to discuss the Kern Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plans during the 90-day review period. The plan covers SJ Valley areas, not the Mountain Communities.
