• New Year’s Eve revelry at Sue’s Tavern begins at 9 p.m. with live music provided by On Tap. The festivities will include food, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.
• Resident Permits Are Going Fast! Ease the stress of winter driving. Get your Winter Resident Permit so when CHP blocks snow visitors with chain checks, you can be waved through. Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce prints these, available for $5 at several Frazier Park and Pine Mountain Village locations (see hotlink at www.MountainEnterprise.com for a current list). Purchasers must bring proof of residence.
