• Bring your icky stuff to dump at the Household Bulky Waste Collection Event, Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Three different locations (1401 Skyway Drive, Bakersfield; 1700 Vernon Avenue, Bakersfield; 1142 South P Street, Bakersfield, Kern County Fairgrounds) This is great if you have been using covid lockdown time for cleaning around the homestead. (Bulky waste includes, but is not limited to, household appliances such as refrigerators and water heaters, mattresses, furniture, electronics, and other large household items.)
