• Frazier Mountain High School Homecoming is right around the corner! The fun happens Friday, Sept. 3, starting with parade merriment at 6 p.m., and then a 7 p.m. kickoff for the FMHS vs. Cuyama game. Tickets are $6 at the door (700 Falcon Way).

• On September 11, join the 21st Annual Ride/Walk to Remember through Cuddy Valley. It is a local tradition to honor those lost as a result of the 9/11 attacks of 2001. Riders meet at 11 a.m. at the Piñon Pines mailboxes. Motorists through Cuddy Valley are welcome to wave or park and observe the procession. (Please don’t honk, it can startle the horses if you are too close.)
• The ‘Everything Exchange’ is Sunday, Sept. 12, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., at the Lampkin Park basketball courts in PMC (6410 Askin Dr.).
