• Trashy Mountain Folk of PMC will be getting together to clean up this lovely mountain, 9 a.m. they will be meeting at the Perch parking lot., (16200 Mil Potrero Hwy). Bring your pickup sticks, sunscreen and plenty of water. If there is any questions contact Val, 805.340.1984.

• A reprise book launch party in a shady outdoor courtyard, 2 p.m., at Adventure Ink bookstore (16229 Pine Valley Lane, Pine Mountain Village) for Deep in the Forest, Beyond the Clouds, a collection of true stories by members of the Mountain Communities. If you have a mountain story to share, there will also be a discussion of Volume II of Deep in the Forest. Music, entertainment, refreshments, readings, door prizes and a book signing will be part of this free event.

Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021

• Coffee with a Cop: Join your neighbors and law enforcement officers for coffee and conversation, 10 a.m. in the Pine Mountain Club Condor Lounge (2524 Beechwood Way, PMC). No agenda or speeches on tap, just a chance to ask questions, discuss concerns. This is a good way to get to know the officers in your community, and interact and communicate outside of crisis situations.

Senior Sack will be out at the park today! Be sure you’re there to grab your free produce and other food items. This bounty happens each second and fourth Wednesday of the month, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. at Frazier Mountain Park (3732 Park Dr.).

• You are invited to a Mountain Communities Collaborative meeting, 9:30–11 a.m. via Zoom, hosted by the Mountain Communities Family Resource Center (MCFRC).
